Nowadays,a teaching Chinese as the second language in Thailand has become a remarkable period of rapid growth.Since a period of using PPT for teaching was so popular until an online teaching has become more general in a daily life.As the result,more and more new innovation of teaching methods has been developed to be the most effective for the teaching Chinese as the second language.This thesis will discuss about how a wechat's emoticons application applies to the elementary Chinese vocabulary teaching.Moreover,it has to find out whether the above method able to improve the Chinese vocabulary for the students or not?Obviously,the relevant issues were found during the experiments:pre-test,pro-test,and questionnaire.Significantly,it provided the solving solutions and suggestions for those above-mentioned problems.Thus,the experiments will split the students into 2 groups:the experimental group which applied the wechat's emoticons application into the class curriculum and control group which does not apply the wechat's emoticons application into the class curriculum.Furthermore,as the experiment for those 2 groups which divided into 2 parts:pre-test and pro-test.As the result,those tests will be compared and analyzed which had been written in the thesis.Finally,I have found out the attitude forward wechat's emoticons application and suggestions of the experimental class students through the questionnaires.As the result of the experiment found that:firstly,whatever the class teacher applies the wechat's emoticons application in the class curriculum or not,it does not mean that the skill to remember Chinese vocabulary of all students will be improved,but the important is the teacher itself has to prepare the study plans well,and control the time well,these are the keyword to make the success class.Secondly,the experimental classes are the grade 10 and grade 11 students,but the control class is the grade 12 students.Obviously,the Chinese vocabulary skill for grade 12 students are better that those grades 10 and grade 11 students.On the other hand,the errors that existed on the Chinese phonetics or Pinyin are the significant issues for them:the first error on Pinyin initial q[t(?)'],is written to x[(?)].Secondly,the error on Pinyin vowel "uo"sound is written to "ou" sound.Thirdly,the third tone of Chinese tone is written to the second tone.Moreover,students made mistakes on putting the tone on the medial vowel instead of putting it on main vowel.For example,the vowel "iao" includes the medial vowel of"i",student made the mistake by putting the tone on the medial vowel "i" instead of putting it on mian vowel "a".Last but not least,according to the questionnaire found that students are able to accept the wechat's emoticons application into their class curriculum.Furthermore,the majority of students believe that this way of teaching can assist them to improve their Chinese vocabulary skill,On the same time able to increase their motivation on learning Chinese.
