In the late 1950 s,knowledge was divided by British physicist and thinker Polanyi into explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge, the former spreads knowledge with language, words, pictures and symbols, and the latter can perceive its existence but it is difficult to master implicit knowledge. In the history of educational development, the most respected is teaching explicit knowledge, the existence of tacit knowledge in terms of teaching has not been paid enough attention, which has affected the development of education largely. Then, music workers began to attach importance to the tacit knowledge in music teaching, and there are a lot of teaching methods appeared to express tacit knowledge. However, they only realized the importance of tacit knowledge but did not fully integrate explicit knowledge and tacit knowledge and use the explicit application of tacit knowledge to the classroom teaching.Based on the research of the implicit and explicit knowledge of music in middle school classroom teaching and the background of the middle school with students' psychological development, this paper starts with the concept of tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge, the meaning of music tacit and explicit knowledge in middle school, the form of presentation, the ways and methods of comprehensive application of tacit knowledge and dominant knowledge in classroom teaching, and the case analysis of the comprehensive application of tacit knowledge and dominant knowledge to maximum the comprehensive application of tacit knowledge and explicit knowledge in middle school music classroom teaching.
