Beginning from the challenge the school management of knowledge economy era is faced with, this thesis defines the school knowledge management through the in-depth study about knowledge and knowledge management as "The school knowledge management is a course of school development aims implementation in specified the outer circumstances". According to the theory of knowledge management and using the means and method of knowledge management, the school administrators regard the knowledge and knowledge activities as the important resources of school in order to realize the educational aims. They exploit teachers and staff's intelligence to promote their abilities of tact and creativity and create the school culture and values in favor of the knowledge sharing and innovation through the acquisition, transmission, sharing, application and creation of the knowledge throughout the school.The school management aims to promote the core power of competition and its essence is to build a cooperative and open environment of school culture. These are in favor of the influence, communication and knowledge sharing between stuffs. Besides, the thesis discusses the characteristic and value of school knowledge management. We think school knowledge management concludes explicit knowledge management and tacit knowledge management. The sharing of tacit knowledge management is the core of school knowledge management.According to the in-depth understand about school knowledge management, the thesis points out there are two types of factors that impact the implementation of school knowledge management.
