ObjectiveThis study based on the development and policy support of cyber psychological health education on college students,through online survey from two perspective,so as to achieve the following goals:(1)To know the situation of Internet usage and psychological needs,and to put forward advice of promoting college students' mental health level.(2)To investigate the situation of cyber psychological health education for college students in Guangzhou City,and find out the main aspects that can improve the mental health education of college students,and put forward suggestions.(3)According to the needs of college students,set up a feasible cyber psychological health education operating system,which includes contents and methods,forms and ways.MethodsThis study reviews the literature and understands the research status of cyber psychological health education for college students at home and abroad,to provide theoretical basis.Through interviewing and Delphi method,construct the questionnaire,and sent an electronic questionnaire to investigate the mental health education in Guangzhou.Using SPSS17.0 software,data analysis was done by descriptive statistics,reliability and validity test,chi square test,ANOVA,correlation analysis and multiple stepwise regression analysis.ResultsThe main results are as follows:(1)College students in Guangzhou often surf the Internet,91.75% college students surf the Internet every day,61.72% more than 4 hours a day,mainly in 18:00~24:00.(2)College students' motivation and behavior of the Internet are various.53.80% college students were mainly entertainment and relaxation through the Internet,26.73% also obtained information through the Internet,36.63% explored the external world,and 28.71% vented their emotions.(3)The degree(1.62±1.177),frequency(1.75±0.791)and satisfaction(2.16±1.017)of college students on cyber psychological health education are on the low side.(4)The importance,the need and the willingness about the mental health education of teachers and college students are above 2.5.The main influencing factor is security(P<0.05).(5)For the educational approach,47.06% of the teachers chose the campus website,while 63.04% of the college students chose social software.Both of them choose to use video and pictures to popularize mental health knowledge,psychological measurement and evaluation and psychological consultation.(6)Specific needs have some difference.In the online course,teacher choose self consciousness(50%),occupation psychology and career planning(47.06%),mental health(44.12%),and most college students choose emotions and feelings(53.14%),self consciousness(53.14%),psychological adaptation(52.15%),occupation psychology and career planning(51.49%).In psychological measurement and evaluation,both of them choose personality tests,and 38.94% college students expect further analysis.In online counseling,both chose interpersonal relationship and social support(41.18%,31.15%).In online self-help and mutual help,29.41% teachers chose to learn and innovate,22.44% of college students chose interpersonal relationship and social support.(7)The teacher believes that the main goal should be to improve the mental health level of college students,and take the college students as the leading role,and adhere to the overall development and people-oriented.Conclusion(1)The Internet has become an important part of the life of college students.The college students have a rational network behavior and a pleasant emotional experience.At the same time,the cyber psychological health education has high demand and willingness.The importance,necessity and feasibility of developing cyber psychological health education are all plenitudinous,and the prospects for development are good.(2)The degree of understanding,the frequency of use,the degree of satisfaction and the effectiveness for the cyber psychological health education need to be improved.(3)We should increase investment in equipment,funds and places,and build a team of teachers with psychological background as the main force,to promote the development of cyber psychological health education.(4)With the advantages of Internet,pushing WeChat articles,micro-blog topics and network courses accurately to improve the awareness of mental health education.(5)According to the different needs of college students,we should use interesting forms to provide targeted,various,multilayered education content,so that college students are more willing to use it.(6)In order to make more students more wanna use it,it is necessary to improve the safety and convenience of the cyber psychological health education,so as to get better results.
