The Straits Of Autistic Children’s Family Care And The Intervention Of Social Work

Autism requires long-term rehabilitation training,which brings a lot of trouble to families,such as economic pressure,psychological pressure,family tension,education pressure and so on.This paper analyzed the causes of the difficulties in family care through specific cases in practice and helps the client through case work.In the process of intervention,taking the concept of social work and helping the people who can help themselves.Help families with autistic children out of trouble through three dimensions: psychological adjustment,ability improvement and improvement of social support network.The results shows that after the intervention of social workers,the psychological pressure of client was alleviated,the client’s ability was improved,and the social support network was improved to some extent.Therefore,this paper believes that case work can provide effective help for families of autistic children to get out of dilemmas.Three aspects should be emphasized: First of all,psychological adjustment is the basis,which should be paid attention to at all stages of service,making it work with other aspects together.Secondly,ability improvement is the core of service.We should develop the ability of “self-help” specifically.Finally,in the improvement of social support network,social resources should be effectively connected with the needs of the client.
