| The pathogenesis of Childhood Autismhas always been a mystery. It has been half a century from the found of its symptom. For the first time, Dr. LEO-KANNER, the American Childhood Autism Father, discovered and put the term of "Autism" into public view in 1943. But the reasons and sequences of the disease so far is still a mystery. By contrast, the number of children who are suffering from the Autism in the world is increasing year by year. In 21st Century, the global neonatal autism ratio has increased to 0.1-0.2 percent, when compared with 0.03-0.04 percent, the ratio of which at the beginning of the last century, and, boys are the majority. In China, Autism experienced a shift from a rare disease of the epidemic, to the epidemic one, with the rising number year by year. Currently, the Chinese autism prevalence is around one thousandth, similar to other countries in the world. The autistic population has been over 4 million in the most recent census, which contains more than 2 million child patients aged from 0 to 14, and the worrying family who are suffering from their children’s disease, can be a plus of tremendous harm in both scope and degree, to Chinese population structure. However, the domestic doctors who can diagnose autism are rare, no authorities are offered to rescue the patients of Autism, being included in health insurance is unrealistic, and the funding channels from different governments are various. In Beijing, In Beijing, there is a direct government subsidy to rehabilitation-every patient enjoys ￥ 30,000 while non-household population can not. But when it comes to Suzhou, all treatments of Autistic children are free, and even the non-household population can take the half subsidy-around 2,000CNY per month. Besides lacking Professionals, relevant laws and regulations are either blank out in China.Rehabilitation of children with autism is a long and arduous process. It has a close relationship between the rehabilitation of autistic children and the surrounding environment, especially the family one. And for a long time, most of the studies are focused on the pathogenesis and recovering methods, nevertheless the studies aiming at family elements which is significant are rare. The paper considers the parents of Autistic children as research subjects, takes social support intervention research perspective, uses social support theory of formal and informal support intervention to support families of children with Autism to provide help.Through the practice of Hefei T institutions, in good relationship with the parents of children with Autism, I chose 5 families as the research subjects, took interviews, observations and literature studies as research methods. The founds based on difficulties and supports of the Autistic Families are divided into two aspects of internal and external:internal are economic difficulties and mental manifestations of stress, and external are main education support of autistic children as well as the supports from government and policies. On this basis, the use of social support theory of formal and informal social support can analyses the daily exposure to social support as well as their evaluation and requirement of Autistic families. After analyzing the social support, trying the following methods of social support perspective of social work intervention of autism families, providing services for autistic families, to help them get through problems in daily life. |
