Objective: In this study,we conducted a month-long intervention of traditional Chinese medicine Rhodiola rosea on amateur marathon runners to deeply investigate the effect of Rhodiola supplement on the myocardial enzyme system of amateur marathon athletes,and the application of Chinese herbal supplements in exercise practice.Experimental research provides a theoretical basis and practical reference for nutritional supplements for the majority of marathon enthusiasts.Methods: Eight male marathon amateurs were randomly selected and were physically fit,aged 40 to 50 years old.According to the needs of the project,the experiment was divided into two experimental sections: the first segment was divided into two time points,namely,normal quiet time and immediately after 20 km of quantitative load;the second segment was the quiet time after taking one month of rhodiola and 20 km ration.Immediately after the load two time points.They were expressed in the quiet control group(C),the quantitative load group(L),the post-dosing quiet group(MC),and the post-dosing quantitative load group(ML).In group C and group MC,5ml of elbow venous blood was taken before the start of the exercise.The blood of elbow venous blood was collected immediately after the next day in group L and group ML.After blood collection,serum is collected by centrifugation.Using the kits for myocardial enzymes: Creatine Kinase(CK),Aspartate transferase(AST/GOT),Lactate dehydrogenase(LDH)and Creatine Kinase(Cratine Kinase)The activities of isoenzyme and CK-MB were detected and SPSS 20.0 statistical software was used to analyze the two-factor variance of each group of myocardial enzymes.Results:(1)Compared with group C,the activity of CK,AST/GOT and LDH increased significantly in group L(P<0.05).Although the activity value of CK-MB increased,there was no significant difference;One month later,compared with the C group,the activity of the myocardial enzyme system in the MC group changed,but there was no significant difference;comparedwith the L group,the CK activity value in the ML group was significantly reduced(P <0.05),LDH,AST The activity levels of /GOT and CK-MB changed but there was no significant difference.Compared with MC group,activity of CK,CK-MB and AST/GOT activity in ML group increased significantly(P<0.05),while LDH activity value increased but there was no significant difference.(2)The first phase before taking the drug: compared with C group,the vitality values of CK,LDH,AST/GOT and CK-MB increased by 143%,34%,198% and 2% respectively;In the second phase,the CK,LDH,AST/GOT,and CK-MB activities increased by 75%,14%,56%,and 51%,respectively,in the ML and MC groups.(3)The subject's "subjective physical sensory rating" data analysis showed that compared with the C group,the physical sensory changes in the L group after training significantly accounted for the largest proportion.Compared with group L,some people in the ML group feel relaxed and some people do not feel much change.Conclusion: After exercise,the amateur marathoners showed significant increases in CK,LDH,and AST/GOT activity,suggesting that exercise at high loads changed the activity of myocardial enzymes and caused some damage to the myocardium.Rhodiola supplementation can reduce the degree of myocardial injury caused by heavy exercise to a certain extent,effectively protect the heart function and promote the recovery of body fatigue.
