In the era of rapid development of knowledge economy,the state has paid more and more attention to education investment.As a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural north west frontier region,xinjiang is resource-poor and economically underdeveloped.Educa tion is one of the means,the weight of narrowing the gap between eastern and wester n higher education is the most efficiency of the education level of personnel training,to understand the present status of the xinjiang region of ordinary higher education in vestment research the concrete effect on economic growth is to explore the restriction of xinjiang region of ordinary higher education investment efficiency factors,to impro ve the efficiency of China's xinjiang region ordinary higher education investment is of great significance.Therefore,it is necessary to carry out in-depth analysis and resear ch on the economic growth of higher education investment in xinjiang,and summarize the influence,so as to put forward effective Suggestions.The time series data of this paper is mainly from 2005 to 2016,and the relationship between investment and eco nomic growth of education is co-integrated test,granger causality test and error correct ion model.As a result,there is a long-term equilibrium relationship between the in vestment and economic growth of higher education in xinjiang,and there is a granger causality.This is the necessary condition for us to study the investment benefit of hi gher education in xinjiang.In recent years,Chinese universities have entered the enrol lment expansion mode,and xinjiang is no exception.At the same time,the input of r esources is also increasing,which leads to the unprecedented development of education in colleges and universities.But rapid development at the same time,also caused the shortage of resources,efficient use of resources,such as insufficient internal potential problems,on the premise of inadequate investment,it is necessary to evaluate the in put-output efficiency of colleges and universities.In respect of the xinjiang education i nput and output of higher education,can make full use of limited resources and maxi mum output,is to keep the xinjiang education rapid,coordinated and sustainable devel opment of important factors.In order to do this,we must have a scientific and practi cal way to evaluate the efficiency of the output.This paper establishes a dynamic DE A model to evaluate the efficiency of education input-output efficiency.Comb in educ ation investment efficiency of related research and review the Chinese region of xinjiang for many years,the present situation of the education investment,on the basis of using data envelopment analysis(DEA)of BCC model and Malmquist index model in China's xinjiang region from 2005 to 2016,the ordinary higher education investment efficiency calculation,and Suggestions on raising the xinjiang region in our country or dinary institutions of higher education investment efficiency of policy recommendation.
