Analysis Of Investment Efficiency Of Higher Education Based On DEA Method

With the development of social and economic, the national increasingly need for high-quality person, and the fundamental way to obtain high-quality person is to develop higher education. Higher education investment is the pledge to develop higher education,implementing the strategic of priority development of higher education and increasing the investment in higher education is an of common concern in the world.Firstly, from a theoretical point of view, by collecting, collating documents, the paper elaborates higher education, higher education investment efficiency and DEA method.Secondly, by analyzing and summarizing previous research results, I select input indicators and output indicators. The input indicators include human, material and financial resources in three aspects, the output indicators include both researching and teaching achievements. On the basis of this indicators, the paper establish the higher education investment efficiency evaluation system.Thirdly, the paper chooses 11 representative colleges in Hebei province, gathers relevant data and information on educational efficiency in order to be able to measure higher education investment efficiency in Hebei Province.Finally, based on the analysis, the paper concludes the existing problems and proposes solutions.
