Teaching is the main way to cultivate learners' self-regulated learning ability.From the perspective of special training of self-regulated learning ability,this study explored the promotion effect of the goal setting training on the self-regulated learning ability of high school students.During the period from September 2016 to November 2016,two parallel classes were randomly selected from 16 classes in the second high school of Pingdingshan city as the subjects,and conducted a study on quasi-experimental design for 8 weeks.Goal setting training intervention for the experimental group and normal teaching in the control group.Respectively before and after intervention using Pintrich self-regulated learning scale tests on two groups of students,using SPSS software to test of significance of the results,the results show that:(1)goal setting training group self-regulated learning ability increased significantly;(2)in the goal setting training group,self-regulated learning of each dimension increased significantly;(3)the results of the control group were not significant;(4)the goal setting training has no significant gender difference in promoting self-regulation learning.This fully indicates that the goal setting training has a good promoting effect on the self-regulated learning ability of high school students,and there is no gender difference.
