Today,with the development of internet and computer,web-based education become popular among universities and colleges,it got the wide attention from teachers and students.It also has remarkable effects.Moodle is one of the earliest online education platforms,which has had 15 years experience on this field.Due to the platform which is open,free easy to operate,and can be carried out second development.It widely applies in domestic and aboard online education,also distance education practice.The user can carry out the revision or increasing the content on the online testing system by themselves,in order to satisfy the requirements of quiz which the teacher would like to give to students,or adjust the teaching plan,which allow implementing intelligence grading the testing by computer which could help to reduce the workload of teachers.The testing scoring result could impact on the study effect of students,therefore,the timely grading the test result would help students to revise and learn about the deviation and fault in their study.That means diagnose and feedback is necessary way to guide students to achieve their goal.To add the study diagnose in the knowledge field and feedback function in the testing system,it could help students to know how much degree they learnt and which level they are in.Moreover,to provide the exam which consistent to the students' knowledge level,which is the customized study service also.Hereby,the study is basic on the Moodle online testing system,which could carry out the second development,to give students online testing,and to diagnose their level by their answer.And to provide the testing which compliance with their acknowledge level.Firstly,according to reading the relevant literature of Moodle platform,due to the limits of the platform performance,we can only do design function for diagnosis of the study result in the knowledge field and feedback.I also edited the online testing Templates,.The knowledge structure and related knowledge points of the second chapter in the textbook of university computer foundation are compiled on this platform,the knowledge dimension dividing and the cognitive ability diagnose in the knowledge feild.According to related theories and practice,we do in-depth research on the calculation method of cognitive ability value,the judgement of cognitive ability and the examination of knowledge gaps,and design a series of complete diagnosis and feedback functions construction.To summarize the feedback function of the Moodle platform,and point out the importance of Cognitive Ability feedback function.According to the design of this function,Combining SQL database,use PHP technology to realize the cognitive ability diagnosis and corresponding knowledge vulnerability feedback.At last,this function testing could help to prove the practicality of the design.According to the daily online testing and feedback,it could help to check if the students have the improvement,when they meet the same knowledge key point in the final exam.Finding out the problems of design by the further study and analysis.To rise up the improvement proposal,in order to help the online testing system could perform its advantage of the diagnose function and feedback functions.Which allow this platform could be the customize study tool for students,and the auxiliary tool for teachers.
