In recent years,parents have been attaching more and more importance to preschool education.So the high-quality preschool education resources have become a new focus to parents compete for.However,in the case of the shortage of high-quality education resources in our country,the contradiction between supply and demand will further aggravate the intensity of competition.And it also makes the‘kindergarten crunch' more and more serious.So this article tries discusses the factors that affect the access to preschool education and reveal the reason of kindergarten crunch from explore the current situation of preschool education opportunities in urban areas through the angle of social stratification.Among which 4921 parents were surveyed.Results of the investigation show that the social stratification affects the access to preschool,and the family's professional background,economic background,cultural background,household register background will be directly or indirectly affect the preschool education opportunity.At the top of the family,they have the opportunity to enroll the superior preschool through the advantages of economic and social resources.Otherwise,the public kindergartens are better than private kindergartens in guaranteeing the fairness of preschool education.At last,it is suggest that the distribution of education opportunities is the key to solve the impact of social stratification on access to preschool education.It also requires the government as an authority to make a fair distribution of education opportunities,and to balance the influence of the ascribed factors on education access,so as to effectively protect the practical benefits of vulnerable groups.
