Physics is a subject which is based on the experiment,so,the experiment teaching is an important way to carry out physics course target and to improve students' scientific literacy in an all-round way,therefore physical experiment occupies an important position in physics textbook.The junior physics is an important basic course in the field of junior high school science learning.According to the spirit of the compulsory education curriculum standard of 2011,to strengthen students' scientific inquiry and physical ability need the junior physics teaching,Not just as a way to experiment junior physics used in the learning process, but also to experiment seen as an important part of learning physics.Because of the differences in political,economy,history culture and tradition or more between China and America,so it is very different in education idea and method,and this can be seen from the textbook.The study of the similarities and differences between the two countries' junior high school physics textbook about the experiment can help us to renew the idea and it can be used as a revelation for textbook compilation,employment and experiment teaching.In this study,compulsory curriculum standard textbook published by People's Education Press-junior high school physics textbook and Science Explorer of American are compared by the methods of comparative study and literature.Comparative research and analysis from the surface and deep in the experimental part of the two sets of textbooks carried out. And the comparative study of the surface structure includes: the experimental forms, the number of experiment, experiment device;A comparative study of the deep structure of the content, including textbooks to help students from the experimental physics concept formation and establish the laws of physics, physical science and the scientific method to explore the content of education, as well as students' scientific spirit and scientific attitude of cultivation.After comparison and study about experimental section of physics textbook,this paper states that the two textbooks are similar in sum of experiment,variations of experiment form,attention of scientific process and method,development of students' consciousness of innovation,etc.They are different in compatibility of experiment and learning content,quantity of experiments in different forms,design of inquiry process,use of experimental material,relation to life reality,development of scientific inquiry ability,etc.In this paper,the advantage and disadvantage of our country's junior high school physics textbook about experimental section are pointed out.And it makes suggestions to the writing of our country's physics textbook about experimental section.
