Based on the present situation of Chinese reading teaching,the thesis manages to find out the problems of Chinese reading teaching in ethnic region senior school by observing and comprehending practical teaching,which are laggard teaching concept,lack of reading time,unrealistic material.The reasons why reading teaching are null or inefficient are single teaching method,inaccurate role of teachers,low interests and anxious attitude of students.After analyzing these reasons,the thesis discusses how to improve the effectiveness of Chinese reading teaching in ethnic region senior school in four aspects: based on effective strategies of basic tasks in Chinese lessons;based on effective strategies of basic principle in Chinese lessons designing;based on effective strategies of distinctive culture resources in ethnic region;based on effective strategies of college entrance examination’s Chinese reading types in region.The research and utilization of these strategies would achieve the goal of Chinese reading teaching.
