The implement of the Ordinary High School Chinese Curriculum Standard(trial)in 2003 marks the beginning of the new curriculum reform,In 2017,the Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary senior high schools(2017 edition)were further revised and updated.Following the new curriculum reform standards,Chinese course in senior high schools has launched a series of reforms to improve teaching efficiency,and the Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture is no exception.Reading teaching in the Chinese course in senior high school under the background of reform is a top priority.Many famous teachers are trying to explore the path which can meet the need of of reading teaching under the new situation.Then,how should the Xiangxi ethnic area respond?Based on this,this thesis intends to start from the investigation of the status of the Chinese reading teaching in the ethnic minority areas of Xiangxi so as to analyze the problems and propose some suggestions as well as try to provide some reference for Chinese teachers in this region.The thesis consists of four chapters.Chapter one is introduction,which briefly introduces the questions,the corresponding literature reviews and the significance of the research.Among them,the researcher's reading teaching classroom mode is classified and sorted out,and clarifies the classroom teaching design from the ideological concept,the teaching strategy and the classroom teaching design requirements,and further puts forward the research significance of this thesis.Chapter two mainly analyzes the questionnaire survey on the current situation of Chinese reading teaching in senior high school in Xiangxi minority area.It is believed that students in ethnic areas generally do not have good reading habits,the teachers teach in a single way and the schools do not pay attention to reading teaching.The main reasons are the backward economy and culture in minority areas,the restriction of local language environment,teachers' rigid thinking and the unreasonable evaluation system of college entrance examination.Chapter third:explore the thinking of the reform of reading teaching in Chinese class of senior high school in minority areas.To fully understand the regional environment of ethnic areas,to discuss the influence of national character and national psychology on students' reading and the influence of reading classroom teaching.Following the new curriculum reform concept,from the perspective of teachers,teachers are required to change the traditional teaching concept;Create reading situations that allow for multiple interpretations;Study textbooks,overcome their own weaknesses,improve classroom efficiency.Chapter four:combined with the characteristics of students in the minority areas of western Xiangxi to carry out classroom reading teaching design.In view of the current situation of students' poor reading ability,we should pay attention to the skills of reading texts;In view of the students' poor foundation of ancient Chinese,the teaching of classical Chinese is carried out flexibly;In view of the current situation that students are unwilling to communicate,a variety of classroom activities are actively carried out;In view of the current situation of poor reading and writing ability of students,infiltration of reading and writing skills training.
