Because of the special local environment,the native students have to load their heavy luggage and climb mountains to attend school,whose environment is strange to them.However,it is there that they begin their dream journey and continue their study.In addition,due to the unbalanced development of education,the conditions of school operation are different in different schools,in which some can offer students dormitories,while some have to ask their students to rent outside.Therefore,in my thesis,the focus is the senior students who rent out of school.Although they are also boarding students,they are different,which makes them become a special and new minor group---off-campus boarding students.As the boarding students outside school lack the normal family monitoring,strict school management and good social surroundings,they have a lot of problems in their physical and mental development,study,ideological morality,and especially their mental health.If they don't pay much attention to their mental health,they will break the school discipline or delay their education,what's worse,they will lose their way and be misguided at last.So the local government,families,schools and the society should attach great importance to all of the above problems.As a Chinese teacher in senior school,I would like to conduct an indirect investigation and reflect on the boarding students living outside school in the aspect of emotional education.My survey is based on the methods of questionnaire,interview and so on,and on the case of my work unit---Liangshui Middle School of Wudu District,Longnan City.In order to probe into the emotional problems of the boarding students outside school,I make an interview to part of the students and make a deep inquiry to their family education situation and the educational ideas of their parents and guardians.I hope the minority of the parents,school managers and my mates can focus more on the off-campus boarding students through my investigation.As far as I'm concerned,the education of off-campus boarding students,especially their education in developing their emotion is more important.After the new course reformation,the objectives of Chinese teaching are divided intoknowledge objective,ability objective and moral objective,in which the moral objective is the final destination of Chinese study.The aim of emotional teaching is to make students develop the correct recognition of their emotion in teaching activity so as to obtain the active emotional experience.In contemporary educational circles,some scholars appeal emotional education strongly and they regard moral objective as an important factor to evaluate a person.The famous educator of Former Soviet Union,Sue Home Linsky said,“One thousand times I am convinced that there is no source of poetic emotion and beauty,and there is no student.” The time senior students attending school is the longest,especially the boarding students in our school,thus,the school has more responsibility of the education of the boarding students outside school,besides,the teachers are unshirkable.Most of the heart trouble of the off-campus boarding students occurs in the course of study,which should be solved in the teaching process and we should put the mental health education into all the practice of teaching.Chinese is a subject full of feeling,whose teaching materials and teaching objectives make it have the special mission of developing and cultivating students' emotion and helping students reach their moral objectives.As the dominator of this subject---Chinese teacher,I have more reason,obligation and courage to shoulder the special mission.Under the conception of the new course reformation,Chinese teachers should be asked to become the facilitator of the harmonious development of students' personality.Teachers should return the class to the students and make the students as the center of the class.Chinese teachers should transform from the professor for psychological counselor,pay attention to the students' differences and reach the true meaning of teaching students in accordance with their aptitude.
