Since Donald Walters James in America proposed the concept of life education,the study about theoretical exploration and practice is increasing in a lot of countries,however,the combination of subject teaching and life education is relatively little.As a teacher the opportunity to contact with the students provides convenience to research.As for the life education,different researchers define it from the perspective of their own.After absorbing the essence of the theory,the author thinks that life education is the education of persons' life responsibility,value and significance.Education is carried out based on living life,and aim to improve students' ability to live and enhance the vitality of life.The time in middle school is the gold stage of growth and development of young students.The quality of life of middle school students directly affect the future of China's national quality.However,nowdays suicides,homicides,violent attacks on campus,as well as school bus accidents happend frequently,which reveals the lack of life education in middle school in our country.Therefore,to strengthen the life education of middle school students has now become a top priority of school education.As biology studies the nature of life,it has become a natural course of carrying out life education,bear the interpretation of what life is,the meaning of life and death,which is a good medium for life education.But under the high pressure of college entrance examination,totay's high school biology teaching pay much attenion to students ' score rather than their life,thus neglecting the problem of students growth needs.According to the status of senior high school biology teaching,basing on Ren teach version of "Biology" textbook this paper tries to do some research on the practice of life education in biology teaching in senior school so as to continue to explore life education and the combination of biology curriculum,in the hope to provide a useful reference to improve the effectiveness of life education of middle school students in China.By combining life education with biological teaching in high school,it not onlymakes life education carried out but also makes biological teaching lively.This paper states the backgrounds,research methods and the meaning of the study.After consulting some documents and learning about the current situation of life education at home and abroad,I designed condensed questionnaire and investigatory outlines to survey and analyze the current situation of life education in the school where the writter works.According to the results of the survey I try my best to involve life education in the biological teaching.Finally is the author's thinking about the research.I hope I can carry out life education better in my teaching later.
