The primary school stage is the important period of children' socialization.Students' Interpersonal communication has an important influence on personality,emotion,behavior,psychology in this stage,even will affect their adult life.Intermediate level is the turning point of the elementary primary school.In this time interpersonal problems began to highlight.If the students who have interpersonal problems were not given in help timely,they will be back,attack,low social skill etc.Therefore,finding an efficient and feasible method to improve students' interpersonal communication is urgently needs to solve the problem in psychological development of primary school students.Drama in education,originating from western countries,is a kind of teaching method with education as main purpose and drama as feature.It has shown a great help to child's imagination,creativity,cooperation consciousness.Studies have shown that drama in education can improve children interpersonal problems,such as poor interpersonal skills,lacking of adaptive capability,shy etc.This study takes picture book as subjects matter and introduces the characters,space environment,story context.Discuss the efficiency of the drama in education the as the intervention method to improve interpersonal competence through improvisation performance.This research adopts before and after experimental design,selecting 30 grade three and four schoolchildren as the research objects,and randomly divided into control group and interventional group,each group of 15 people.Control group without any treatment,interventional group implements dramatic intervention for 8 times.Intervention program was designed according to students' psychological and physical features,aims at five dimensions of interpersonal competence.All the research objects accepted the test of social ability diagnoses scale before and after intervention.In the end of this paper,we analyzed the data.From the data before-test and after-test,we found there were obvious and varied difference between interventional group and control group on the total score.At the same time,comparing self-evaluation self-evaluation,classmates evaluation and teacher's interview.We can see interventional group have an obvious improvement on interpersonal communication.shows that drama in education can be used as an effective way to improve primary school students' interpersonal skills.
