It is found in practice that, there are several children of each class seldom interact with teachers and peers actively or express their emotions in collective teaching activities.Compared with other children in the class, they have a low degree of participation.Previous research has aleady found that the level of children engagement has an important impact on academic achievement. As a result, the state of children engagement in collective activities has attracted the attention of researchers. This research made a two-month intervention on the low-participative preschoolers in senior grade by Drama-in-Education(DIE)from the methodological perspective of cultural psychology. This study combined basic ability tests with teacher interviews to analyze the reasons of children's low-participation.We found the low-participative children can be divided into three categories: stress-susceptible children,weak-capable children and thinking-deviatory children. The intervention can be divided into three phases:(1)Engage in the imaginary situation and focusing on the focus dialogue.(2)Establish emotional connection and trigger flow experience.(3)Create collective motivation and promote interactive negotiation. With the gradual formation of groups and the increasing proficiency in the form of drama, the effects of intervention will gradually emerge.Due to the different psychological and functional characteristics, the three types of children have obvious differences in their performance and each have their own development space.Teachers need to observe, evaluate and summarize the characteristics and advantages of different children in a timely manner, and flexibly adjust educational programs and goals. The research found that DIE contains unique psychological activities that can develop children's potential, which can trigger and promote the development of children's psychological potential and stimulate children's actively engagement in collective activities and focused dialogue.Through analysis and discussion of the intervention effect, the following DIE teaching strategies to stimulate children's investment were summarized :(1)constructing imaginary situation and cultivating intrinsic motivation.(2)make effective use of dramatic conventions to attract children's input.(3)dramatic tension and emotional input complement each other, trigger flow experience.(4)use dramatic language strategies to maintain children's focus on dialogue and cultivate their logical verbal thinking.
