Innovative Measures In National Students' Cultivation Mode Of University For Nationalities

University for nationalities is part of Chinese higher education.It is also a particular educational mode to prosper minority regions and provide specialized personnel for economic progress and social development in these regions.University for minorities is sent a particular mission to serve minorities and the related regions.The quality of national students' cultivation is key to university for nationalities.Instead of copying,university for nationalities should have their own characteristics in students' cultivation.National students are the main groups in university of nationalities.As a result of their native social morality,values and ways of life,they have their national consciousness and present some group characteristics.Their national consciousness,mentality,sense of crisis about their religion and culture make them psychologically different from the rest students,and also affect their outlooks on motherland,nationality and religion more apparently.Based on group characteristics of the national students in university of nationalities,this paper uses Beifang University for Nationalities as a case and analyzes its students' cultivation mode,then puts forward innovative measures in national students' cultivation mode of university for nationalities: perfection of students' personality training,and building up core values of socialism;perfection of multicultural educational training,and cultivating social-adaptive students.In the critical period of national university students' personality formation,we should comprehensively improve the quality of national students cultivation through effective measures,such as providing appropriate guidance,innovating the cultivation mode,perfecting course system,and applying various teaching methods.It will help national students build up the core values of socialism,integrate into multi-culture,and finally carry out “China's unity and co-prosperity”.
