| American educational research,to some extent,can be representative.So we are supposed to make some analysis for it.Based on the literature analysis,this study adopted the method of bibliometrics of scientific knowledge map to explore the subject of American Educational Research Journal from 2001 to 2016.And the author tried to find the characteristics and some changes from the subject based on all 490 articles,and get some new understanding.There are four parts in this study.The first one is introduction.In this part,the author stated the background,significance,questions,object and design of the study.Besides,the author clarified the study framework,and pointed out the reason about choosing this journal.Previous study was demonstrated,too.The second one is the analysis for the keywords which appear frequently.Based on the articles from American Educational Research Journal,the author presented the knowledge map and gave a brief analysis.And the study found that there were eight major keywords,including achievement,performance,student,teacher,school,instruction,mathematics and education.And the author also found different relations among these key words by reading the articles.The third part of this study is the presentation and analysis of the subjects for American educational research.The author found five subjects by reading the knowledge maps and the whole articles,including student achievement,race,professional development,instruction,engagement,reform,educational reform and policy,and equality.So the author gave a detailed explanation for the characteristics about American educational research,and tried to analyze the reasons by reading these articles and combining the status quo in the United States.The last part is the conclusion and suggestions of the study.The author concluded the research contents and gave a brief statement for the characteristics and the reasons on the basis of the reality of Ameican educationl research.In the end,the author explored the tendency and gave some suggestions for Chinese educational research. |
