A Study On Parental Stress Of Mothers With Autistic Children In Group Work

At present,the number of children with autism in China is about 2 million.Behind the children with autism,there are families of children with autism who are burdened with a heavy burden.Due to economic and practical pressures,the role of taking care of children with autism in the family is often played by the mother.The burden of parenting on them is heavier and the pressure of parental duties is also greater.This article focuses on the status of parental stress in mothers of autistic children and explores the use of group work methods to relieve their parental pressure.The purpose is to assist mothers with autism children to change their irrational beliefs,recognize parental pressures,and learn to respond correctly to Parental pressure.In order to reduce the parental pressure of autistic children's mothers,this study used the pressure system theory and ABC theory,and combined with practical investigation to design a service program to relieve parental stress of autistic children's mothers.In this study,two main research methods were used.One was the questionnaire measurement method,which used a short-term parental stress scale to measure the parental pressure of the client;the second was the group work method,which was carried out through social work groups.To a certain extent,it relieves the pressure of the client's parental duties.Based on the results of the activities and other relevant data,this paper concludes that the group work has a positive effect on alleviating the parental stress of autistic children and can help them reshape the irrational beliefs of the mothers of autistic children.The way of knowing,to a certain extent,changes the behavioral pattern of coping with parental pressure.In the end,this paper proposes relevant suggestions based on the research results and conclusions,and hopes to provide reference for related research later.
