At present,China is in the midst of a fierce social transformation,in the face of social competition and economic pressure,many young people will invest more time and energy in their work,and can not bear the heavy responsibility of taking care of minor children,and with the gradual liberalization of the "two-child policy",families have more childcare needs,but in the face of China’s imperfect public child care service system and the mixed social child care service industry,it has become the social norm for young parents to entrust their minor children to elderly parents.However,the problems brought about by intergenerational upbringing have also followed,and the intergenerational gap caused by the different concepts of intergenerational education has even evolved into intergenerational conflict,which continues to impact the psychological emotions of the grandparents,and the heavy and complex intergenerational parenting tasks make the grandparents physically and mentally exhausted,and even in the intergenerational upbringing,they cannot breathe,so the grandparents urgently need to channel the pressure brought about by the intergenerational upbringing.In this paper,the pressure of the grandparents participating in the generation-skipping upbringing in Village A of Qinghai Province was investigated by using the observation method and the non-structured interview method,and the intervention of the group work was implemented through field investigation,recruitment of team members,needs assessment,formulation of group activity plan,field group activities,group evaluation and case closure.The author selected 6 grandparents from A Village A in Qinghai Province to participate in intergenerational rearing as research objects,formed a "Trouble Quick Walk Away" pressure counseling group,guided by social support theory and demand theory,responded to the needs of the ancestors,guided the team members to encourage and support each other,and carried out 6 group activities from three aspects: identification and guidance of intergenerational parenting pressure,peer support and encouragement,and learning and application of intergenerational parenting knowledge.And through group evaluation,summarize the experience of the activity and reflect on the shortcomings of the activity.The investigation and research of the group’s work involving the pressure of grandparents’ parenting pressure found that: First,most of the grandparents involved in the intergenerational upbringing often have psychological pressures such as anxiety,loneliness and loss in the heavy intergenerational parenting life,and their physical health is also affected.Secondly,the reasons for the pressure of intergenerational parenting mainly include their own aspects,the decline of physical function and the restriction of cultural level;in the family,there are differences in the concept of intergenerational parenting,and the family communication is not smooth;at the social level,there is a lack of a sound childcare system and the lack of necessary social support.At the same time,the needs of ancestors in intergenerational upbringing mainly include the need for physical health,the need for emotional support,the need for social interaction,the need to master the knowledge of intergenerational upbringing,the need to be respected and recognized,and the need to realize self-worth.Finally,according to the effectiveness of the activities of group intervention,the group work method in the social work method has a positive effect on channeling the parenting pressure of the grandparents,and the group interaction and support are conducive to the formation of peer support of the grandparents,alleviating negative emotions,and channeling the pressure of the parenting of the grandparents.
