According to Einstein,“the mere formulation of a problem is far more essential than its solution”.The new Curriculum Standard for Senior Mathematics(2017 Edition)also refers to improving the ability to discover, raise, analyze and solve problems from a mathematical point of view. This reflects that the ability to raise mathematical problems has become increasingly important. To this end,it is of great importance to find the factors that affect the ability of senior high school students to raise problems,to provide solutions to the existing problems, and to put forward the corresponding strategies for high school students and math teachers.Based on the constructivism theory,Tyler principle and variant teaching theory, six factors affecting the ability of senior high school students to put forward mathematical questions and the existing problems are studied through literature analysis and questionnaire survey. The strategies to improve senior middle school students' ability to raise mathematical problems are investigated.Effective strategies for senior high school mathematics teaching are proposed. Finally, teaching practice research is studied to draw the conclusions:Generally speaking, senior high school students' ability to raise mathematical problems is weak because of various reasons.Based on literature review, six factors affecting senior high school students' ability to raise mathematical problems are obtained: mathematics learning interest, mathematics learning motivation,self-efficacy,mathematical values, mathematics learning attitude and problem raising awareness. The data collected from questionnaire survey are processed to investigate the problems:(1)High school students have high enthusiasm for learning, but they are often frustrated by difficult questions.(2)Students have a variety of motivations learn mathematics, which can be stimulated by teachers through different ways.(3)High school students are confident in their ability to learn mathematics.(4)High school students hold positive attitudes towards math learning, but their learning habits should be further improved.(5)High school students' self-understanding and mathematical value are weak.(6)High school students have a good awareness of raising mathematical problem. However, they rarely pay attention to multiple answers to one problem and lack thinking capacity.Based on the above research results, some teaching suggestions are put forward in the following aspects:(1)Improve students' interest in mathematics learning;(2)enhance the motivation of mathematics learning;(3)improve self-efficacy sense;(4)cultivate positive mathematics learning attitude;(5)set up correct mathematical value;and(6)raise awareness of raising mathematical problems. This paper initiates the study of the factors influencing senior high school students' ability to raise mathematical problems and has achieved some achievements. However, there are also some shortcomings. This study is expected to attract the attention of high school students and teachers to the ability of raising mathematical problems, and to provide effective teaching reference for senior high school mathematics teachers.
