| Family environment is very important to the growth of the children?High school students experience the “second birth” of life,psychologically “weaning” again and their emotions become more abundant.They are more eager to get close to the opposite sex and pursuit their love.At this period,they form their own views of marriage.Parents' marital status and parenting style have an important influence on high school students' love and marriage.This study selected 300 students from a high school of DaTun town Gejiu city of Honghe.Through questionnaires,the author got information about the students' parents' marital status,parenting styles and their own views of marriage.The results show as the follows:(1)The marital status of parents which is generally good is 62.7%,and the divorce rate is 7%,and the children are relatively satisfied with their parents' marital status.(2)In the ways of parenting,there exist some common characteristics: the overall characteristics of the mother and father in the average scores of emotional gentle dimensions are of the highest,but the average scores of “prefer” are the lowest.At the same time,there are differences in parenting styles between father and mother:fathers are more strict and more likely to choose punishment,especially in rural areas;mothers tend to interfere too much and in the countryside,they use much more emotional warmth.There are ethnic differences in the way of mothers' emotional warmth,and the mothers' parenting style of ethnic minorities is mainly emotional warmth.In the end,parents parenting styles are also changing as the children growsand the older the parents are,the more they prefer to be “prefer”.(3)the average score of high school students' views of love and marriage are more positive,optimistic and open,but the views of the students of the rural areas are less positive than those of the cities and towns.Sexual attitudes and sexual behaviors are more open and inclusive than before,especially minorities and men,but compared with foreign countries,they are still relatively conservative and traditional.There are differences between male and female students in choosing a mate.Girls pay more attention to the personality,morality and temperament but the boys are more concerned with abilities and feelings.The age factor also affects high school students' attitudes towards love and marriage.As their ages are increasing,their views of marriage are becoming more mature,their standards of mate choice are more comprehensive,and they are more open and inclusive about sex.In addition,parents are not optimistic about high school students' views of love and marriage.(4)parents' marital status affects the formation of high school students' attitudes toward love and marriage.At the same time,the parenting styles of parents also affects the high school students' attitudes toward love and marriage,and there is a significant correlation between them.According to above results,it is recommended that parents manage their marriage well,improve their marital status,adopt reasonable ways to parent their children and guide the children form correct views of love and marriage.In addition,the schools should also take actions to help high school students form correct concept of love and marriage. |
