A Comparative Study Of Tennis Clubs' Operation And Management Between China And Belgium

For studies on development of tennis in the western developed countries-Belgium,as a research object,by a comparative study of tennis clubs' operation and management between Hangzhou and West Flanders with the literature material method,field survey method,questionnaire survey method,interview method,logical analysis,mathematical statistics and other research methods.China and Belgium have different culture,system operation and management of the tennis club,by this research I could find out the process of development both West Flanders and Hangzhou tennis clubs,and also the existing problems in operating and managing.Comparison between the two countries' tennis club operations and management,discovered there are significant differences among those aspects.Through comparative study,we can learn more about a mature mode of operation and management from the West Flanders tennis clubs,and explore suitable operation and management mode for the development of Hangzhou tennis club,as well as improve the market competitive advantages,expanding the tennis population,delivering more talented tennis player for our country so as to promote the national tennis strong province and city.The conclusions of study:(1)the members and scales of tennis club in West Flanders is far more than Hangzhou;(2)the facilities,coaches and teaching quality in West Flanders' tennis clubs are far superior to that of Hangzhou;(3)the operation ways in West Flanders tennis clubs are diverse,while Hangzhou's tennis clubs have a relatively simple operation method.(4)the management mode in West Flanders tennis clubs is relatively mature,while Hangzhou' tennis clubs lack professional management person.(5)the satisfaction of members in West Flanders' tennis clubs is significantly better than that of Hangzhou tennis clubs.Suggestions:(1)Hangzhou' government are supposed to follow the current national,provincial policies about tennis development,and support the development of tennis positively;(2)to set up a wide range of tennis related courses in primary and secondary schools and universities in Hangzhou,as well as hold tennis competitions at home and abroad in order to expand the social influence of tennis;(3)Hangzhou's tennis club should enrich the means of operation and use the Internet,multimedia and other technological innovations properly to promote the external publicity.(4)the tennis clubs of Hangzhou should try to change the traditional management concept and learn more mature management modes of western developed tennis clubs;(5)Hangzhou tennis clubs should strengthen foreign exchange and study;(6)Hangzhou tennis club should strive to improve the satisfaction of members,and so on.
