The object of geography research is the Earth's surface complex.It is a complex object,with similarities and great differences.To study the earth from a large-scale perspective often neglects the essence of geographical things.Therefore,we need to view the earth as a multi-level research object and study the multi-scale geographical things to grasp the characterization and attributes of things.Many countries in the international curriculum standards reflect the scale of ideas,scales of thought have been valued.Four core literatures are given in the Geography Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017 edition): regional cognition,comprehensive thinking,geographic practical power and human-environment coordination,of which regional cognition and comprehensive thinking also embody geography Multi-scale thinking.In geography teaching,the use of scale thinking teaching relates to whether students can gradually learn geography knowledge and understand the essence of geography.Therefore,it is very crucial to use "multi-scale" thought in geography teaching to "teach" and "learn".There are many domestic studies on geography-scale thinking,but there are very few applications of multi-scale thinking to geography teaching in middle schools.Therefore,it is of profound theoretical and practical significance to carry out the research on the application of multi-scale thinking in middle school geography teaching.In view of this situation,this article based on the theoretical basis,combined with the literature analysis,questionnaire survey and classroom observation method to study the application of multi-scale thinking in geography teaching in high school.The first part of this article is about the research background,purpose,significance and method.The second part starts from the domestic and foreign literature related to the multi-scale geography of middle school to define the multi-scale geographic thought.The third part shows the necessity and feasibility from four aspects.The fourth part tries to find a breakthrough from the practice of geography teaching in senior high school,analyzes the actual situation of using multi-scale thinking in geography teaching,and the fifth part puts forward countermeasures to the cultivation of multi-scale thinking from the perspective of teachers and students.The sixth part is the conclusion and deficiency of this article.
