As an important part of the geography curriculum at the secondary school level,it is imperative to study and build a geography resource base that conforms to the learning rules and subject content system,to dig deeply into the content of geography,and to develop the life,inquiry and practicality of geography teaching.At the same time,the popularity of information networking,the integration of multimedia network platform with the help of network media technology,adapting to the needs of modern teaching subjects,and carrying out network teaching are the inevitable tendency of the development of education and teaching,therefore,it is practical and feasible to realize the construction of a website for teaching local geography in Haiyan..Through adequate literature reading and search of relevant websites,this paper constructs a theoretical system and content system of the website based on the secondary school geography curriculum standards and the needs of Haiyan local geography education,and presents the content and design of teaching local geography in Haiyan County,Qinghai Province.The design of the website follows the principles of scientific and practical,systematic and correlation,integration of teaching objectives and ideology,and interest,etc.The concept of "multi-scale" website design is formed,and the website is designed from different spatial and political perspectives,such as global,Chinese,provincial,local and "two bombs and one star" spirit.Under the guidance of learning theory and website design and planning theory,the website of Haiyan County Local Geography Teaching was completed.The feedback evaluation of the website was conducted through questionnaires to teachers and students and some members of the public to understand users’ satisfaction with the website,to verify the effectiveness of the website teaching,and to improve and maintain the website based on the feedback.The evaluation results show that users are satisfied with the website pages and contents,etc.The website teaching is effective,and it is very enriching and helpful to the presentation of classroom teaching and students’ learning styles,and the design and construction of the website has become an effective way to carry out local geography teaching in local secondary schools.The results show that the "multi-scale" design concept for the comprehensive development of the local geography teaching website can clarify the specific connections between different spatial scales such as global-China,provincial-local,county-campus,etc.,especially the range of regional scales from large to small under the spatial scale in the geographical perspective,and the time scale embodied in each scale.In particular,the geographic perspective of the spatial scale from large to small regional scale range,and specific to each scale reflected in the time scale of the geographical elements of the Haiyan vernacular over time,as well as highlighting the advantages of the local characteristics of the Haiyan Civic Education,the integration of the vernacular elements have a key role in the successful construction of the site.In conclusion,the construction of "multi-scale" local geography teaching website can provide teaching and learning resources for local geography teaching,and also become one of the ways for the public to understand the general situation of Haiyan region,which has very important practical significance.
