Large recess sports activity is an important part of school physical education,is the breach of the school sports work to implement quality education,The large class sports activities are rich in content,varied form and flexible in organization.In recent years,it has been carried out in full swing in various primary and secondary schools all over the country,and is well received by the majority of teachers and students.This study uses the methods of literature,questionnaire,field investigation,interview,mathematical statistics,case study and other research methods to investigate the present situation of sports activities in Liupanshui rural middle school,and draw the following conclusions:(1)Liupanshui rural middle schools can actively respond to the requirements proposed by the state to carry out large class sports activities.Most schools arrange the time and times of sports activities in large classes to be guaranteed.The main way is to carry out the collectives in the whole school.There are great differences in the content of the four different districts and cities,but the differences between schools in each area are small and the content is more abundant,but the speed of renewal is slow.(2)Most schools have a large class sports related system,but the organization and management organization is not perfect,the supervision and evaluation system is not perfect,there is no timely feedback mechanism,the managers are mainly sports teachers and class teachers,and no resultant force has been formed.(3)The lack of professional physical education teachers,48% of the school teachers are not qualified;the team of physical education teachers tend to be younger,the proportion of female teachers is insufficient,the degree of education is based on undergraduate education,and the teachers take part in more training opportunities,but the training opportunities are short,the training time is short,the content is not rich and systematic,and the training effect is not obvious.(4)The field and equipment have been greatly improved,50% of the schools have plastic sites,equipped with relevant equipment according to the regulations,but the quality of equipment procurement is poor,the development and utilization of sites and equipment is not high.(5)School leaders and PE teachers are more recognised in the course of large class sports activities,but most of the school leaders think that because of the higher school rate and the hidden dangers of security,most teachers think that the school leaders are not paying enough attention to the school leaders,and the vast majority of other teachers support the big class activities.Most of the students know and like the sports activities during the big break.They hope to add more projects and renew them every semester.(6)Insufficient leadership,imperfect evaluation and reward system,unscientific organization and management,lack of professional teachers and lack of field equipment are all important factors that restrict the development of sports activities in the large schools in Liupanshui rural middle schools.(7)Through taking Yu she middle school as a case study,it is concluded that the importance of leadership,the physical education teachers as well as the support of the whole school teachers are the primary conditions to carry out the great classes;the full development and utilization of the field equipment is the important guarantee for the development of the sports activities in the great class,and the school-based curriculum is carried out with the local characteristics and the modern elements.The important way for high school students to take part in the big break is to establish a sound management and assessment system.Through the analysis of the current situation of sports activities in Liupanshui rural middle school,the following suggestions are put forward in view of the factors affecting the development of large class sports activities in rural middle schools in Liupanshui.(1)strengthen macro regulation and control of administrative departments at all levels,increase capital investment,guarantee material basis,regular and irregular progress.To supervise and establish a perfect evaluation system;(2)The school should increase the organization and management of the activities in the major courses,establish a leading group,make clear the division of labor,and form a long effect mechanism;(3)Set up a team of physical education teachers,carry out a large class evaluation,exchange activities,and organize sports teachers to visit and train and learn to communicate.(4)To promote the value meaning of the great class,strengthen and guide the understanding of the sports activities between teachers and students,create a good cultural atmosphere and promote the long-term development of the large class sports activities;(5)The schools should fully develop and use the field equipment,according to local conditions,and promote the special class between school based teaching and research.
