The Ministry of Education's General Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 edition)states that the design of simulated experimental activities should guide students through relatively complete and standardized scientific research processes,from the design of experimental schemes to the observation,recording,and implementation of experimental processes.Data processing and analysis,final writing of experimental reports and communication,training of practical ability and scientific attitude of seeking truth and reality.With the development of geography curriculum reform,Some middle school campuses in our country have been built and put into use in geography laboratory.How to use geography laboratory scientifically and reasonably to reflect the educational value of geography is a problem worthy of our attention.Therefore,in teaching,we should pay attention to it.It is very important to study the scientific nature of geography experiment in middle school.At present,there are still some problems in the science of geography experiment in middle school in our country.In this study,the author analyzes the geographical experiment cases in 12 monographs and 10 geographical teaching journal papers by observing the geography experiment cases in six classroom teaching videos.The scientific problems of geography experiment in middle school are summarized in the following six aspects: neglecting the appropriateness of the goal,the accuracy of the principle,the appropriateness of the content,the preciseness of the scheme,the standard of operation,and the effectiveness of evaluation.According to these problems,the author has done a lot of literature reading and analysis on geographical experiment at the same time,combined with expert interview,designed and implemented seven cases.On the basis of the above three aspects of research work,this paper summarizes the points for attention in improving the scientific nature of geography experiment in middle school: the relevance of geographical experiment value,the accuracy of geographical experiment principle,the suitability of geographical experiment content,The preciseness of the geographical experiment scheme,the standardization of the implementation of the geographical experiment,and the effectiveness of the evaluation of the geographical experiment.In order to solve the above problems and promote the effective implementation of science in middle school geography experiment teaching,the author also puts forward some thoughts.For example,the geography experiment teaching in middle school can be divided into six kinds:geography course,geography experiment class,geography second class,geography micro class,family experiment class and competition lesson.The development trend of geography experiment in middle school: from teacher demonstration to teacher-student cooperation,student-student cooperation,teacher design to teacher design and student design,from confirmatory experiment to comprehensive and design experiment,From process evaluation to process evaluation and performance evaluation.
