From the concept of core literacy to the definition of core quality of discipline is becoming more and more clear,core literacy has become a hot topic of concern to all sectors of society.As one of the important disciplines in high school,the core quality of geography subject has also been paid attention by the vast number of geographers,among which the cultivation of students' core quality of geography has become the concern of every educator.In such an environment,the geographical community can be used as an extension of traditional classroom teaching,make up for the lack of classroom teaching at the same time,cultivate the high school students' geographical core quality.Based on the geographical community,this paper studies and discusses the cultivation of the core quality of geography of high school students.This study uses literature research,questionnaire,statistical analysis and case study.The first part introduces the background,content,purpose and significance of the study,puts forward the research method and technical route of this study,the second part defines the relevant concepts,analyzes and summarizes the current situation of domestic and foreign research and the theoretical basis of the research,and the third part,through the high school questionnaire survey of the author's region,To understand the current situation of the geographical core quality of high school geographical associations and high school students,and analyze the results of the survey,the fourth part analyzes the characteristics of the activities of the high school geographical association,summarizes the classification of the activities of the geographical community,follows up the activities in real time,takes the specific activity case as an example,analyzes the specific core quality,To find the problems existing in the activities,put forward the corresponding solutions,and the fifth part is to design the community activities that point to the cultivation of the core of geography,put forward the corresponding design principles,design procedures and precautions,and design the case of the activities of the geographical association,and put forward some suggestions for cultivating the students' geographical core quality in the activities of the geographical associations.In a word,it is a feasible teaching method to cultivate students' geographical core quality by using the geographical community,which makes up for the deficiency of classroom teaching in cultivating the core quality of geography,activates the desire of students to explore geography,and promotes the rapid and all-round development of students.Therefore,in the development of community activities,to the cultivation of all kinds of literacy throughout the community activities,should make them integrate with each other,mutual penetration.In the activity,we should pay attention not only to the content of training,but also to the effectiveness of training,to achieve the effective cultivation of core literacy.Schools can use campus resources and regional characteristics,based on the value and characteristics of geographical disciplines,combined with students' interests,from the perspective of geography to guide the development of characteristic,quality geographical community activities,so that the discipline to give the community geographical vitality.
