Curriculum resource are an important component for the basic education reform and a basic condition for the implementation of new curriculum standards.The Mongolian nationality has a long history and has its own unique culture in food,clothing and nomadic life.Therefore,Inner Mongolia has a curriculum resource that full of ethnic characteristic.If digging and making use of the Biology curriculum resource which will bring local advantages into full play and strengthen ethnic features,in line with the actual situation of the region,and reasonably using these resources in classroom teaching in an effective way,not only the Mongolian students' interest in learning biology will be stimulated,but also the Mongolian students' inquiry ability will be cultivated and national culture inheritance and development will be realized and it will be of far-reaching research significance in promoting Biology education of Inner Mongolia region and smoothly implementing the curriculum reform in Inner Mongolia.At the same time,it can also provide materials for the compilation of ethnic local textbook and open up a new idea for the inheritance of national culture.This article uses interview method,literature research method and case analysis method to probe and sort out the relevant contents of Mongolian traditional culture and middle school biology curriculum resources.Among them,in the process of teaching the knowledge of ecological system and its stability,the characteristics of Mongolian nomadic life in four seasons in order to protect the diversity of animals and plants and resilience stability can be used.In the process of teaching the knowledge of ecological protection,the proverbs of Mongolian about the awareness of caring for the environment and the current situation of the large number of poisonous weeds Euphorbia fischeriana bred in pastoral areas in recent years can be used.In the process of teaching the knowledge of hybrid breeding,the breeding methods of Erdos goat and Xilin gaole region goat in 2002 and the breeding of cow and local cow can be used.In the process of teaching the knowledge of family planning,we can apply the 1.8-fold increase of the Mongolian population in the 2000 national population census data compared with last year and the policy of family planning for ethnic minorities in our country.According to the combination of Mongolian traditional culture and middle school biology curriculum resources,three biology teaching designs with Mongolian characteristics were written.At the same time,it puts forward some methods to utilize Mongolian characteristic curriculum resources in biology teaching and some suggestions to implement them in the teaching processThe case study shows that the effective development and use of Mongolian culture curriculum resources in the course of biology teaching,not only enriches the learning resources,but also effectively realizes the teaching objectives.which has positive significance for the inheritance and protection of Mongolian national culture.
