first time.In 2016,"sports development" 13 th Five-Year "plan" proposed that the sports complex should be vigorously developed,and it is defined as the construction of urban sports facilities and service chain,and building the venues and facilities into a body based,rich,comprehensive and complete,capable and energetic service entities.For the time being,the development of sports service complex relies mainly on existing venues.In this paper,the development of sports complex in Hubei province is takenas the research target.Through the literature,field investigation and expert interview,the relevant experts and scholars of sports industry center of Hubei Sports Bureau and relevant experts and scholars in the sports industry in Hubei province are interviewed,and many sports around Wuhan as the center of radiation are visited.Venues,and interviews with its industry operators,on-site inspection of Hubei sports venues operation status.In order to analyze the current situation and existing problems of the operation and management of large sports venues in Hubei Province,the necessity and feasibility of developing the sports complex in Hubei province are obtained,and the strategy and path of the development of the sports complex in Hubei province are designed by analyzing the successful experience of the sports complex at home and abroad and the Wanda
