Research On The Construction Of Social Support Network In Private Social Work Agency

With the rapid development of Chinese society and welfare transformation,government reform and function transformation,social work education and the development of professionalism,Chinese social work agencies obtain the rapid development,especially private social work agencies.However,private social work agencies are developing in agreement with the local economy,it leads to the unbalance regional development.Compared with the development of private social work agencies in the Pearl River Delta Area,the development of private social work agencies in northwest Guangdong Province is relatively lagging behind,which has a lot of problems such as the lack of attention,talents,funds and methods,etc.G city is located in southwest of Guangdong Province,which belongs to the west of Guangdong Province.The development of its private social work agencies is also faced with the same problems.Under these difficult circumstances,B Service Center can still survives and its scale is continually expanding.We want to know that how B service center obtains resources and seeks survive in the transitional period of development.With this wonder,the author has been doing field work at B Service Center,conducting field research.The author mainly adopts the method of qualitative data,participant observation,unstructured interview and literature review to collect materials.After two-month filed research,the author found that by all means,B service center establishes the multi-party cooperative system and social support network with the external environment such as government,enterprises,volunteers and community residents,etc.It could help social work agency to get the resources such as material support,human resource support,technical support and emotional support etc.The article attempts to expound how B Service Center establishes multi-party cooperative system's social support network,to analyse the effect and deficiency of its construction and then to provide the reasonable advice for theother private social work agencies which have the same problems in order to provide a reference for other private social work agencies...
