Building A Social Support Network:A Study Of The Path Of Social Work Intervening In The Spiritual Poverty Of Urban Elderly Aggregates

At present,China is in the period of rapid aging population development.Behind the huge number of elderly population is the increasingly serious problem of supporting,supporting and comforting the elderly.The quality of life of the elderly should not only be reflected in the material life,but also in the satisfaction of the spiritual life.In the economic and social transition period,the spiritual poverty of the elderly is an important issue related to the elderly to spend their old age in peace,improve the quality of life,determine the precise fight against poverty,and promote the smooth transition of the aging population society.Based on the social support network theory,this paper takes the crowds of the urban old people's gathering area in the F district of Chongqing as the survey object,and comprehensively uses the methods of field visits and participatory observation to collect the research data in depth.The study found that the mental poverty of the elderly in the agglomeration area is mainly manifested by the lack of hobbies,the low quality of entertainment activities,and the single social relationship.The trigger mechanism for the mental poverty of the elderly includes insufficient spiritual pension resources provided by the self,family,government,and social organizations.In the article,the author has reviewed the literature on the involvement of the elderly support network in the academic circle.It enumerates the work process of social work assisting the empty nest elderly to build a social support network and the relevant practices that the author has participated in.It summarizes the social work as the spiritual poverty in the agglomeration area.The old people build the feasibility and advantages of supporting the network,and then formulate the social work intervention framework for the mental poverty of the elderly in the crowded areas.The social workers use the professional methods of social work comprehensively,through the comprehensive methods of professional methods such as case,group,community,social work administration.Use,comprehensively intervene in the elderly support network,help the elderly to establish a positive and healthy mentality,improve the spiritual living level,build support networks with neighbors and peer groups;integrate community resources;conduct social advocacy to help the elderly improve or construct new social support The internet.The article with a summary of the social interventions on the spiritual poverty of the elderly in urban agglomerations.The professional intervention of social work focuses on strengthening the formal support and informal support.The specific way is to assist the elderly to build including government,social organizations and communities.An informal support network,including the official support network and peer groups such as family,friends,and neighbours.At the same time,it also discusses the intervention difficulties and countermeasures of social work.In the course of the research,the author found that the mental poverty problem of the elderly has become more and more serious with the aging of the aging.I hope that through this article,the community will be called upon to pay attention to this special group,improve the relief of inner loneliness and achieve spiritual poverty alleviation.
