Early reading is the major kind of activity in the early childhood stage, and it is a powerful impetus to promote the development of children's intelligence and non-intelligence,and even an important channel for children to enter the world. The interest in early reading is the main motivating mechanism that encourages children to actively participate in or carry out related activities of early reading in preschool stage. Therefore,to a certain extent,it determines whether children can enjoy the valuable benefits of early reading. There are quite a few research on early reading interest at home and abroad nowadays, but it still fail to answer the researcher's question of How child's early reading interest develops. In response to this, the researcher,On the one hand, had conversations with kindergarten teachers and parents about child's early reading interest,On the other hand, the researcher was inspired by Bronfenbrenner's ecology theory about how people developed is studied for purpose.Eventually, the researchers decided to take the home as the main research site and children with a strong interest in reading as the research object by adopting the method of case study. After layer screening, the researcher selected three top-class children as the case study participants. After communicating with the parents of the three children,I learned that mothers are the main role of children's reading interests.Additionally, the researcher made an interpretation of Bronfenbrenner ' s concept of the “ the dyad ”.Therefore, the researchers took the mothers as the main interviewees, focusing on collecting data from aspects of “ typical examples of interest cultivation of early reading for children in gradual processes ” and “ family cultivation ”,and applying Bronfenbrenner's related concepts on the microscopic system(the dyad,N+2 system, proximal process)to analyze it.Through investigating the overall situation of the three children cases, the researcher found that the three children shared commonalities in the three aspects of the periodical development of early reading interest: the mother's concepts of early reading and cultivating strategies, and home reading environment, based on which the relevant concepts of the microscopic system were used for in-depth analysis.Furthermore, the process of the developing for child's early reading interest was explained by ecology theory and it was summarized as follows:the process of the developing for child's early reading interest can be understood by the process of that adults gradually gave the dominant role of reading to children in the process, the bidirectional relationship between adult and young children in the reading process was continuously deepened, the reading activities young children took part in were gradually shown in molar activities in children's behavior, and reading activitiesyoung children were experiencing became complicated gradually. These four processes are not separated from one another or are progressive one by one,but are present in the development process children's reading interests. What's more, the development of child's reading interest can't be without the supportive N+2 system.Based on the overall discussion and analysis of the data, the researcher believes that there are several factors necessary for the development of children's reading interest: the regular reading activities, the abundant reading materials, the companionship of adults, the persistence of long-term,and the clear routine, the agreement of reading environment, and flexible guidance according to the child's realistic situation.
