Lower primary segment is the foundation stage children in knowledge, emotion,consciousness and behavior. Parent-child reading, helping to train students in lower gradeskeen interest in reading, forms good reading habits. Primary study of parent-child readingsection was relatively weak low. In this study, drawing on the basis of the research results athome and abroad, through surveys, literature research, experience summary, studiesparent-child reading the problems, propose appropriate countermeasures, both sides hope toattract home-school parent-child reading for attention.In the introduction, the author discusses the existing studies of parent-child reading. Iput the lower primary students as research subjects, with "Family Reading" and "low-gradestudents read" both done a literature review.In the first chapter, the author discusses the Family Reading train younger students’interest in reading advantage. Reading has had a profound impact on physical and mentaldevelopment of junior students; we should promote younger children’s reading interest.However, due to limitations of children’s own characteristics, they need guidance of parents.The parent-child reading is in the interaction between parents and children, to learn the way.Good family child reading in favor of low-grade students received preliminary readingexperience, enhance low-grade students reading interest, and thus form good reading habits.In the second chapter, this paper discusses the myth of parent-child reading in ourcountry. Late parent-child reading development in our country, the theory and practice arescarce. First of all, the indifferent consciousness of parent-child reading in our country,family reading only pay attention to the mother and child reading, ignore the father. Second,many parents influenced by "exam-oriented education", neglecting the students’ ability. Again,many families equate parent-child reading education, with knowledge of mechanical, ignorejunior student interest. In a word, the above phenomenon, have ignored the nature ofparent-child reading, so that the students in a "knowledge without learning, ability notascend" awkward situation.The third chapter discusses the strategies of parent-child reading practice. The authoranalyzes the pros and cons of parent-child reading later. The author thinks that, good parent-child reading; first of all need to pay attention to parent-child reading of both sides,namely "parents" and "junior students". Secondly, the parents need to choose the appropriatereading materials and appropriate methods are the precondition of parent-child reading. Inaddition, the construction of "small environment education" in the family also is the externalcondition of parent-child reading. Finally, the author on the basis of the above analysis,《incharlotte’s web》, for reading, parent-child reading activities is designed.Epilogue pointed out that parents are the first teachers of students in the lower grades,they want to implement the theory and practice of effective parent-child reading activities toimprove students’ ability to promote comprehensive and cultivate social needs of people.
