Early reading is an important way for children to explore the outside world.Home reading stresses the importance of parents' roles,who carry out reading activities that fit for the mental and physical feature of children,in order to improve their reading interest.Nowadays,more and more parents realize the significance of early reading and parent-child reading.However,there are many problems that make parents puzzled,such as how to have scientific reading beliefs,how to carry out reading activities and how to create good home reading environment.This study explores the problem of how to improve the early reading interest among children in home reading environment,the association between family socioeconomic status(including parents' education degree,job and income)and children's early reading interest,via home reading environment(including parents' reading beliefs and family reading activities).This study measures the variances by questionnaire and use SPSS system to analyze the data.The results are:(1)family socioeconomic status affects children's early reading interest;(2)family socioeconomic status affects children's early reading interest by the mediating effects of parents' reading beliefs and family reading activities;(3)parents' reading beliefs affects children's early reading interest;(4)family reading activities affects children's early reading interest.
