The Enlightenment Of Confucius' View Of “Knowledge And Disgrace” On College Students' Ideological Education

Our country is in the period of social transformation.The old and new values have been fiercely collided.The undergraduates in this social environment have become confused and the behavioral value orientation has lost the minimum moral threshold.The problem of lack of shame has become increasingly prominent.There are many things to do in moral education in colleges and universities,but the most important thing is to educate the students to understand shame.Confucius' concept of "professing shame" came into being during the period when people's moral values were chaotic.In the face of the many virtues that need to be saved,Confucius first chose to teach people to have a moral bottom line to save all kinds of morally undermined behavior.Confucius hopes to arouse the emotional consciousness of people's "shame" and enable people to form benevolence by experiencing "shame" so as to reorganize social order.From the perspective of content and training methods,this idea has a profound reference to the reform of the content and methods of contemporary college students' moral education.This research uses literature research,questionnaire surveys and other methods,and takes practical problems as the research background.It systematically studies Confucius' s concept of "knowledge and disgrace" from the aspects of background,content,and methods.In the end,the concept of Confucius' confession of shame is connected with the education of contemporary college students with the concept of shame,and the content and methods of moral education for contemporary college students can be found and used.
