At present,domestic large-scale sporting events gradually tend to be matur e,but there are still many problems in its operation in marketization.The maj ority of scholars in China study the direction of safety measures and impacts o f large-scale sports events,while relatively few studies focus on market-oriente d operations.Therefore,this article focuses on the market-oriented operation of Xi'an large-scale marathon competition and has certain theoretical significance.This article not only summarizes the experience of marathon events in detail,but also provides countermeasures and suggestions for the problems that existed in the market operation of the competition.In addition,the research in this p aper has certain reference significance for the future related competitions in the long-term development and operation of marketization.This article takes the Xi'an International Marathon event as the research o bject and discusses the market-oriented operation rules of large-scale sports eve nts.Combining the literature research method,logic research method,questionn aire survey method,and mathematical statistics method,the paper analyzes the marketization status and internal and external environment of Xi'an marathon e vents,points out the problems existing in the marathon event activities,and pr oposes the promotion of the marketization of competition events.Related strate gies.Although Xi'an International Marathon has achieved a proud result,there i s still a certain gap compared with the top marathon events in the world.Ther efore,the Xi'an International Marathon needs to maintain its own unique advan tages and stick to the path of innovation.In addition,the author hopes to pro mote the continuous development of the Xi'an International Marathon to some extent through the research results of this article.
