Research On The Education Of Filial Piety To College Students

As the traditional virtues of the Chinese nation,filial piety is the essence of Chinese excellent traditional culture and is the spiritual force that supports the survival and development of the nation.The filial piety education for college students has many epochal values,for example : the filial piety culture is the important source to cultivate college students socialist core values;the filial piety culture is able to improve the moral quality of college students and establish a sound personality;also it can promote intergenerational harmony and family rapport;the filial piety culture could help people to form the habit of respecting the old,and it can build harmonious interpersonal relationships and enhance the effectiveness of ideological and moral education in colleges and universities.Guided by the viewpoints and methods of Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism,and persisting in the principle of unity of the times and the nationality,it studies the origin,evolutionary process,historical values,and limitations of the times of the traditional filial piety culture.On the basis of the basic connotation of the traditional filial piety culture,it interprets its developmental connotation from the perspective of the times,including: self-cultivation and active development of individual level;care and friendliness and the Devotion Spirit of the individual and society-level;undertaking the mission and returning to the motherland of the individual and nation-level,etc.This paper is trying to achieve a modern interpretation of the traditional filial piety culture.At the same time,this paper has investigated six colleges and universities and get more than 500 samples to analysis.The current state of filial piety of contemporary college studentshas been clarified.The problem of the filial piety situation of the college students are the college students laking the cognition of the filial piety culture and students' will are not clear and firmly and some college students has ignored emotional communication to the parents,and college students' filial conducts are not so active and initiative.It clarifying the causes of problems are from the family,society,schools,and other factors.Which are targeted to include: optimizing the filial piety education environment,such as: family environment,campus environment,network environment and society environment.Integrate filial piety education resources,which are social practice activity resources,model education resources,and new media resources.Grasp the focus of filial piety education,and they are parental education,thanksgiving education,life education,responsibility education,and patriotic education.
