Kant is not only a great philosopher,but also a profound educational thinker.Kant's thoughts of educational philosophy was influenced by the Pietism,Rousseau,John Locke and philanthropism,but more based on his own philosophical theory.Kant's educational thoughts consist of two parts: one is the important inspiration for education which was contained in Kant's profound and rich philosophical writings;the other is the educational thoughts in the notes of Kant's lecture of pedagogy(most of these notes are in the book of Pedagogy edited by Rink).Kant divided education into natural education and practical education,the former is based on human nature,the latter is based on the nature of human freedom.Kant divided the complete educational process into several stages: care,discipline,cultivation,civilization and moralization.Kant's goal of his philosophy of education was to realize the enlightenment and freedom of human nature.Kant talked about physical education,intellectual education,moral education,religious education,aesthetic education and other aspects of education.Kant's thoughts of educational philosophy directly influenced Fichte,Herbart,Schiller and others,and also had made a profound impact on the educational thoughts of modern China.It is also of great practical significance for our current educational research and educational practice.This paper is divided into five parts.The introduction introduces Kant's educational background and explains why Kant paid attention to education and made research on educational problem.The first chapter presents the sources of Kant's educational philosophy and analyzes the theoretical basis of Kant's educational philosophy.The second chapter summarizes the framework of Kant's educational philosophy,and elaborates the concrete content of Kant's philosophy of education.The third chapter is a summary analysis of Kant's educational philosophy,revealing that the ideal of Kant's educational philosophy lies in human enlightenment and freedom.The fourth chapter presents the influences of Kant's educational philosophy,the influence on the German educational thoughts,and the influence on the educational thoughts of modern China.
