With growing development of the K-12 Reform,group learning is becoming more and more popular used in classroom teaching as a teaching form,and it is also becoming more and more focused as a way to promote students' learning.In other words,group learning can be seen as an opportunity to learn.During the classroom teaching process,what features does group learning have as an opportunity to learn?What influences on students learning does group learning have? What kinds of group learning will promote students learn better? Based on it,this study is aiming at exploring the influences of grouping learning on students' learning as an opportunity to learn.The group learning as an opportunity to learn how affects the student's learning and how to become a better learning opportunity so as to better promote the student's learning are two interrelated aspects.In order to deal with the above questions,this study uses classroom observation method and semi-structured interview method to present the basic situation of group learning as a form of teaching organization in the actual classroom teaching process.In addition,students are the critical participant of group learning,so this study uses case study method,one method of quantitative research.This study shows the features and the influences of grouping learning as the opportunity to learn to students learning from the perspective of students through interviewing 9 students,who are students in H senior school from Shanghai,China.This study explores the influences of group learning on students learning from learning objectives,learning methods,and learning evaluation based on learning theories.From the perspective of learning objectives,students want to know learning objectives from knowing the tasks in group learning,and they can make learning objectives more clearly through interaction with their partners.From the perspective of learning methods,students want to know learning methods through achieving the tasks of group learning,and better their learning methods through interaction withtheir partners.From the perspective of learning evaluation,students want to find a certainty of group learning tasks,and deepen the learning evaluation through interaction with their partners.Based on these,the main findings of this study include: first,cooperative learning as a learning opportunity has a good effect on student's learning,for example,students identity the overall direction of learning goal through cooperative learning tasks assigned by teachers and through interaction with peers form specific personal goals,so it helps students form and clarify their learning goals;students form and apply specific problem solving methods through the completion of group learning tasks and optimize their learning methods in the selection of multiple learning methods;students want to find a certainty of group learning tasks,and deepen the learning evaluation through interaction with their partners,so it helps students obtain clear and timely learning feedback.Second,there are some problems in group cooperative learning as a learning opportunity.For example,the influence of cooperative learning on students' learning is shown in group difference and the quality of cooperative learning need to be improved;Third,the students' ‘self'power plays an important role in the realization of group cooperative learning opportunities.The group cooperative learning as a kind of learning opportunities selected and supported by teacher must go through the internal transformation of students in order to promote the students' learning.Fourthly,the study of visual cooperative learning can provide high quality learning opportunities for students.Based on these,our research put forward some suggestions to improve the quality of group cooperative learning opportunity and how to play its role.For example,teacher should arrange appropriate group cooperative learning content and tasks,create a good learning atmosphere for peer interaction and promote student reflection in the group cooperative learning process.Finally,it also points out that there are some shortcomings in our research andthe direction of future research.For example,how to comprehensively examine the impact of the internal factors of group cooperative on students' learning,how to explore the amount of the usage and influence from the perspective of quantity and how the group cooperative learning as a learning opportunity can be distributed are worth discussion in the future.
