Currently, new high school mathematical curriculum standards have been released.Compared with the past, the most prominent thing is the core mathematical literacy. How to integrate mathematical literacy into the textbook is a worthy study.Through taking functions in first-year high school as an example and taking exercises as a starting point, the author hopes the study can provide idea for the new textbook complication. There are two questions: First is how to build a exercise design framework based on mathematical literacy? Second is to examine students' problem solving behaviour and mathematical literacy level. There are three study conclusions: First, the exercise design framework based on mathematical literacy consists of three elements:core function knowledge, background and core mathematical literacy. And this framework can analysis or design exercises related to mathematical literacy.Second, students in first-year high school are mainly in the level of knowledge transfer on the dimension of function knowledge. But the students' information processing ability is weak and the drawing ability is not standardized.Third,in terms of the cognitive dimension of mathematical literacy, students in first-year high school are basically at level 2,and one third of the students are at level 3.Most students lack flexible thinking and divergent thinking.Only individual students have the ability to reflect, and most students can't substitute the conclusion into the concrete situation to evaluate and reflect.
