The teaching of mathematical exercises lesson is such an action that the teachers use exercises to conduct the purposeful and planned teaching based on the condition of students and teaching materials.It has the function of consolidating the students’ mathematics knowledge,improving students’ ability to solve problems,and cultivating students’ core literacy.At present,with the introduction of mathematics core literacy and the release of new curriculum standards,the implementation of the development of students’ core literacy in mathematics has become a problem that needs to be solved.This also brings new directions to the teaching of mathematical exercises lesson in high school.This article mainly uses questionnaire survey method,interview method,statistical analysis method and other research methods.On the basis of a comprehensive understanding of the core qualities of mathematics,we conduct research and analysis on the teaching status of high school mathematics exercises lesson,and find deficiencies in the cultivation of mathematical core literacy.Then,according to the survey results and the students’ learning characteristics,with the guidance of mathematics core literacy,efforts are made to explore relevant principles and strategies for improving the teaching of mathematical exercises lesson.Combining the concept of the new curriculum standard,with the core literacy of mathematics and the relevant pedagogic theories,the strategies of teaching are proposed from three aspects: researching exercises,explaining exercises,and evaluating exercises.On the researching exercises we propose that selecting exercises should embody the core literacy,that designing an exercise can arrange several problems,and that solving a problem may use different methods.On the explaining exercises we suggest that the teachers should create suitable situations to stimulate students’ enthusiasm for learning,pay attention to the problem-observing of students to guide students to solve problems correctly,and strength cooperation to advocate students’ speaking.The teachers should rationally use information technology for assisting exercises teaching.On evaluating exercises we propose that the teachers should guide students to summarize and evaluate the process of solving problems.In addition,the author uses relevant strategies to practice,through classroom observation and student interviews after class,find that students’ enthusiasm for learning has improved,and the classroom atmosphere has become more active.At the same time,we point out the problems existing in the project and the issues which need to be studied.
