In the 21 st century,unprecedented changes have taken place in various fields including global economy,politics and culture,and the economic structure and political system of many countries have experienced a significant progress.With the upcoming of globalization,the new directions and new trends towards the future society also bought up the corresponding new requirements for talent cultivation in the 21 st century.The "21st Century Competence" centered on high-level thinking ability has become the core objective of the reform in the educational mode for international preliminary education personnel.School art education can develop students 'creative thinking,cultivate students' comprehensive abilities and realize self-satisfaction.Textbooks as one of the most important carrier of art teaching,there are still many problems.How to skillfully integrate a series of future-oriented capabilities,such as improving students' high-level thinking ability,creativity and critical thinking ability into textbooks is an inevitable reform of China's preliminary education.This paper collects and analyzes the related concepts of the learning environment in the 21 st century and relevant domestic and international documents.From the aspects of page design and course content design,this paper introduces a comparative study of art textbooks in Mainland China,Taiwan and Japan.By perform the comparison and analysis of the common area and independent factors,this paper reveals the problems existing in the current primary school art textbooks in China.Proposed the preparation of "textbooks for study",and intended to solve the existing problems by independently developing a new "textbook for learning".At last,through empirical teaching and promotion,it is necessary to contribute the reform for China's basic education and future art education in schools due contribution.
