Since the reform and opening up,the industrial structure of rural areas has changed with the development of urbanization,industrialization and marketization.Also,the way of farmers' employment has changed accordingly,from purely agricultural production to non-agricultural employment characterized by part-time agriculture.In the process of non-agricultural employment transfer,a large number of farmers chose to cooperate with relatives to carry out family management.The research uses the deep interview method to explore and explain the phenomenon of new family management cooperation in the process of farmers' non-agricultural employment from the perspective of rational choice theory,and,analyzes the reasons why farmers choose to cooperate with their family and relatives in this process.Furthermore,the study explores how farmers act as rational people in the family business cooperation,that is,how farmers cooperate with families,compliance with what rules and strategies.How the rational thinking of farmers affects their choice and action logic is the key problem that I want to discuss.Through the investigation,the following conclusions are drawn: 1.The new family management cooperation refers to a new cooperation mode compared with the traditional rural family cooperation before the reform and opening up and the household contract responsibility system in 80 s.It is forced by our long-term reform and opening up,urbanization and market economy.Of course,farmers' autonomy and their self-conscious also play a key role.There are not too many policy constraints,but more close to a spontaneous,and endogenous power.It is divided into three types: cooperative type,employment type and company type.2.The reasons why farmers choose their families to cooperate divided into two parts.For external reason is the individualization causes insecurity and the desire of "re-embedding".Also the market risk leads to the increase of farmers' life and production instability.The internal cause is consanguinity in the acquaintances society produce the sense of trust.Of course,due to the consideration of reducing transaction costs.3.The rational choice in this article is a kind of "bounded rationality",that is,"local rationality",rather than the pursuit of the full contract of modern reason.Consanguinity is the basis for farmers to choose cooperative objects,and to maximize their interests is the purpose of their cooperation.It is worth mentioning that the "bridge" between the relationship of blood and the pursuit of interest is "trust",which has built a "trust community".4.The rational selection in this article is mainly embodied in two aspects: one is rational thinking before cooperation,and the other is rational action in the process of cooperation.On the one hand,farmers will have a risk assessment of their choices.On the other hand,farmers will produce and follow certain rules and mechanism in the process of specific cooperation.5.The new family management cooperation is actually an effective way of "endogenous development" in rural areas,which will help to give full play to the creativity of farmers and maintain the local nature of the rural areas.
