Since cooperatives law promulgated, our country's peasant cooperatives have developed rapidly. The rapid development of peasant cooperatives has promoted the reform of rural economic system and played a positive role in the development of rural economy.Nowadays, cooperation is of great significance to improve the situation of peasants.Through cooperation, peasants can greatly reduce production costs and improve their ability to resist risks, village communities that gradually collapse can also be recombined and consolidated. However, the organization of peasants does not depend on the subjective desire of the government and academia, but on the on the desire of peasants and the level of ability to unify to cooperate. At present, peasants are still highly dispersed atomized as a whole, and many local cooperation is difficult to form.So what makes it difficult for peasants to cooperate? What is the logic of peasants' action contained in this? Fully understanding the behavioral logic of peasants is an important prerequisite for the study of peasants cooperation.In-depth interview and participatory observation are used in this study, taking peasants rationality as Angle of view, explore and explain the action logic of peasant cooperation and the reasons why it is difficult to cooperate in the formation and development of professional rural cooperatives, how is the action logic of peasant as rational person reflected in peasant cooperation, how do peasants cooperate, what are the motivations and specific processes for cooperation? How the rational thinking of farmers affects their choice and action logic is the key problem that I want to discuss.Through the investigation, the following conclusions are drawn.1.The formation of peasant has internal and external causes. The external causes are the poor ability of atomized peasants to resist risks and the strong support of the government, the internal causes are the rustic able person's drive and the demand of peasants to resists the risks.2.Rational consideration of reducing transaction costs and obtaining more benefits is the primary motivation of peasants' cooperation, and the interpersonal trust to the President of rural cooperative and the system trust to the village public power are theimportant foundation of village L's peasant cooperation.3.There are three types of peasant cooperation in village L: conservative, progressive and rational. The behavioral logic behind these types of peasant cooperation can be roughly classified as survival rationality, economic rationality and social rationality. These three are not an either-or,incompatible relationship, smallholders are both profit-seekers and subsistence producers.4.peasants are rational smallholders who have their own considerations of costs, profits and risks. For the reasons of avoiding risks, seeking survival and development, obtaining economic benefits and improving social status,It is difficult for peasant cooperatives of village L to give play to the advantages of scale economy and form peasant cooperation.5.This kind of cooperation guided by rationality is a kind of benign cooperation in the long run,it is conducive to the formation of a community of peasant cooperation with common rules and equal consultation as the core. This form of cooperation and community of interests,It is more stable and durable than traditional communities that are maintained solely by blood, geography or collective identity.
