The class construction is an important content of strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of university students.The construction of the cohesion of the university classes is an important education form for socialist college students.A good class collective can maximize the initiative of each member of the group,combine education and self-education closely,and also form a huge joint force for education and promote the all-round development of each member.However,because of the increasing number of the only child,the development of credit system and the development of online communities,the traditional forms of the class construction have been influenced.Researching on the promotion of the cohesion of university classes will not only enrich the theory of group cohesion and provide some theoretical basis for enhancing the cohesion of the undergraduate classes,but also have definite guiding meaning.Firstly,the paper based on the literature review,classifies the theory of the cohesion and the class cohesion from the basic conception,characteristic factors,affecting factors,measurements and so on.The class cohesion is the degree to which class members work together to achieve the goal of class activities.It is also the sum of the class members' sense of responsibility,mission and belonging of to the class.Secondly,by combining with the organizational identity theory and group dynamics theory,this study conducted a questionnaire interview on 12 universities.This questionnaire called the general questionnaire of promotion the cohesion of university classes,which consists of two parts,the questionnaire of class cohesion status and the questionnaire on influencing factors of the university class cohesion.The former was designed by four dimensions,which are the consistency of individual goal and group goal,the interaction of class members,the sense of responsibility and obligation and the classes attractiveness.The latter was designed by six dimensions,which are individual cognition,individual ownership,management system,leadership,organizational reputation and external support,from three aspects of the individual,internal and external organization environment.Thirdly,this questionnaire survey shows that in China,the overall level of the cohesion of the university classes is relatively low;therefore,there is still much room for improvement.Last,based on the factor analysis,this research put forward some measures to solving the specific issues about the construction of the cohesion of the Chinese university classes from three aspects,improving the collective spirit of students,perfecting the internal classconstruction and strengthening the external environmental supports.
