Class collective construction is an important content of strengthening and improving the ideological and political education of college students.Construction of class cohesion is an important form of cultivating socialist college students.A class with high cohesion can mobilize the initiative of every member in the group to the greatest extent,form a huge educational force,and promote the overall development of each member.The cohesion of college class has been greatly impacted because of some cohesion problems,such as the increase of the only child,the development of the credit system and the network community,the diversity of employment of students,and the uneven ability of class cadres and so on.My research,for the first time,takes social change model of leadership development and service-oriented leadership as the theoretical basis.Its advocacy of “positive social change” and “service consciousness” are consistent with the collectivism that our party always emphasizes and the policy of “promoting the overall development of students' morality,intelligence,physique,aesthetics and labor”.Based on the current problems of class cohesion summarized in the literature,the dimensions of the questionnaire survey are divided into four aspects: the survey of class rules and regulations,the survey of class common goals,the survey of students' solidarity and cooperation spirit,and the survey of class cadres.Through the comparative analysis of the results of each dimension,it can be concluded that the stronger the class cohesion is,the more complete the class rules and regulations are,the more reasonable the common goal is,the stronger the members' spirit of unity and cooperation is,and the more outstanding the ability of student cadres is.Combining case analysis and interview method,we can compare and summarize the successful reason of the stronger cohesion of the class and failure reason of the weaker cohesion class and it can be concluded that the similarities and differences.According to that,we can explore whether the elements of stronger cohesion of the class is just what weaker class lacks.Finally,according to the research,we can work out the class cohesion factors and take measures to improve class cohesion from the perspective of student cadres.The text consists of five parts:The first part is the introduction,which mainly describes the research background,research purpose,value and innovation,as well as the research summary of leadership and college classes.The second part is the theoretical basis and definitions of concepts.Firstly,the concepts of college students' leadership and cohesion of college class are defined.Then it discusses the theoretical basis of this research,which are the service-oriented leadership and social change leadership,to find the consistency with the collectivism proposed by our party.The third part,based on the questionnaire survey,it investigates four classes participating in the survey from four dimensions: the survey of class rules and regulations,the survey of class common goals,the survey of students' solidarity and cooperation spirit,and the survey of class cadres.The fourth part uses case analysis and interviews to analyze the reasons for the success or failure of two typical classes: the class with strong cohesion and the class with weak cohesion.Then it combines the results of the three parts to put forward the factors of class cohesion.In the fifth part,based on the successful experience of class cohesion,I put forward some measures to promote the development of class cohesion in colleges.
